大鼠下丘脑视交叉上核突触数量的年龄性变化

摘    要:
用电镜定量方法观测不同年龄大鼠下丘脑视交叉上核(SCN)的突触数量,发现SCN中最主要突触群体(轴树突触)及突触总数目均随着年龄增加而下降。成年组、老年组突触数目与青年组相比,差异均有显著性(P<0.05)。该结果提示SCN随着年龄的增加可能有功能下降。

Abstract:
Numerical changes of thesynapses in the hypothalamic suprachias-matic nuclei(SCN)of rats at different ageswere investigated with electron microscope.The population of the major SCN synapses.formed with dendrite and total number ofsynapses were found to be reduced withadvancing age. Compared with the younganimal group, the synaptic number wasstatistically different from that in the adultor senescent group. As a result of thesechanges, the function of SCN might declinewith aging.
