| Abstract: | Objective：To investigate the relationship between expressions of hTERT and p16 in gastric cancer tissues. Methods： The expression of hTERT and pl 6 was observed in 65 cases of gastric cancer tissues with SP immunohistochemical method. Results：The positive expression rate of hTERT and p16 in gastric cancer tissues were 86.15% and 41.54%. There was negative correlation between the expression of hTERT and p16 （P 〈 0.05）. Conclusion： hTERT and p16 genes may be important molecular event in occurrence of gastric cancer. Telomerasa activation and the loss expression of p16 are probably correlated closely with infiltration and metastasis of gastric cancer. |
