Research Progress of Continuous Positive Airway Pressure in Treatment of Chronic Heart Failure with Sleep-disordered Breathing

Heart failure is one of the cardiovascular diseases that seriously affect public heath. Sleep-disordered breathing is a complica- tion of heart failure that can not be ignored. A series of pathophysiological reactions caused by sleep-disordered breathing can increase the risk of death in patients with heart failure. Continuous positive pressure ventilation can significantly improve sleep-disordered breathing in heart fail- ure, and even improve heart function. This article focus on the pathophysiology of the interaction between sleep-disordered breathing and heart failure, as well as the effect of continuous positive airway pressure treatment of sleep-disordered breathing in patients with heart failure.
