| Abstract: | Objective To explore the significance of changes of serum IL-6,IL-8 and M-CSF levels both before and after treatment in patients with chronic prostatitis.Methods Serum IL-6,IL-8 and M-CSF levels（with RIA） were detected in 33 patients with chronic prostatitis as well as 35 controls.Results Before treatment the serum IL-6,IL-8 and M-CSF in the patients were significantly higher than those of controls（P0.01）,after treatment for 2 months,the levels in the patients were no more difference from those in controls（P0.05） Conclusion Serum IL-6,IL-8 and M-CSF levels were closely related to the severity of chronic prostatitis and might be of prognosgtic significance. |
