Combined application of endoscopy and laparoscopy in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor: with a report of 15 cases

Objective:To investigate the appication value of endoscopy combined with laparoscopy in the treatment of gastrointestinal tumor.Methods:The clinical data of 15 patients with gastrointestinal tumor who underwent combined treatment with endoscopy and laparoscopy were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Among them,8 cases(53.33%) of wedge resection,5 cases(33.33%) of segment resection and 2 cases(13.33%) of laparoscopic radical resection were preformed.There were 3 cases of gastric,5 villous adenoma among which 1 case was canceration,5 tubular adenoma and 2 cases of colon cancer.The incision infection occurred in 1 case,no other complications was observed.The postoperative stay was 7-14 day.During the follow-up(3 to 12 months),no recurrence was detected in the cases of adenoma canceration and colon cancer.Conclusions:Combination of laparoscopy and endoscopy extends the use of them,which makes the best use of mimi-invasion and provide a new idea to treat the large benign lesions and small malignant lesions of gastrointestinal tract.
