Clinical Analysis of Determining Blood Lipid, Serum Uric Acid and C-reactive Protein Levels in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Objective To expore the clinical significance of determining blood lipid.serum uric acid(SUA) and C-reactive protein(CRP) levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(DM2).Methods Blood lipid(with biochemistry),SUA(with peroxide enzyme immunoassay) and serum CRP(with immunoturbidimetry) levels were determined in 78 patients with DM2 and 66 normal controls and done comparative analysis.Results In blood lipid analysis,serum TC,TG and LDL-C levels were significantly higher in 78 patients with DM2 than those in 66 controls(P<0.05~<0.01),but serum HDL-C level was low(P<0.01)before therapy.Serum TG levels increase and HDL-C levels decrease especially.After therapy,serum TC and LDL-C return to normal levels,serum TG was obviously low,but serum HDL-C level was notably increase.The SUA and serum CRP levels were significantly higher in 78 patients with DM2 than those in 66 controls(P all <0.01).After therapy,the SUA and serum CRP levels were remarkably low.Conclusion As in DM2,there existed blood lipid and uric acid metabolic disorder and manifested lower inflammatory reactive disease.The blood lipid,serum SUA and CRP levels dynamic analysis might be used as an useful indicator to reflect the therapeutic effect.
