Compliance After Liver Transplantation

Liver transplantation is widely accepted as a successful therapy for patients with end-stage hepatic disease.The compliance with medical regimen is essential to the outcome of liver transplantation.Therefore,it's very important to assess transplanted patients' compliance,as certain related factors and intervene in patients with non-compliance to improve the outcome and quality of life following liver transplantation.This article reviews the concept of compliance and measurements of compliance evaluation,analyses the related factors of non-compliance,lists the reverse effects owing to non-compliance,and points out some corresponding interventions.
