《伤寒论》序贯治疗肺炎喘嗽探析

On Sequential Treatment of Pediatric Pneumonia with Dyspnea and Cough in Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases

Draws on the "sequential treatment" thinking and elucidates the process of syndrome differentiation of pneumonia with dyspnea and cough based on Treatise on Cold Damage Diseases. Sequential treatment of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) for pneumonia with dyspnea and cough is divided into three stages:initial stage,extreme stage and later stage. In the initial stage,the treatment is to treat the lungs with pungent and warm medicinals;in the extreme stage,the treatment is to clear the heat and remove the phlegm,open the lungs and relieve dyspnea;in the later stage,the treatment is to tonify qi and nourish yin,clear the lingering heat,and to protect the healthy qi when the pathogenic qi is leaving and healthy qi is weak. Sequential treatment can provide a new idea for precision treatment of pneumonia with dyspnea and cough in clinic.
