| Abstract: | Eight cases of spontaneous rupture of the esophagus were reported, including 6cases at the right side situated at the middle part and the juncture of the middle-lower parts of the esophagus and 2 cases at the left side situated at the lower partof the esophagus. The etiology and pathogenesis, roentgenologic appearances and theiranatomic-pathologic basis were dicussed, and the main points of the roentgenologicdiagnosis were presented. |
