Conclusion Surveillance samples of milk from the states of Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri were collected from cows grazing on pasture or rangeland treated with normal applications of 2,4,5-T. These samples and control samples were analyzed for TCDD by GC/MS. A detection limit of 1 ppt was achieved. With this sensitivity the control samples were indistinguishable from those from treated areas. Hence, TCDD was not found. |
