Nursing of patients with traumatic cutaneous deficiency treated by skin extension

In the paper, the authors reported their experience in nursing 17 patients with traumatic cutaneous deficiency treated by skin extension, summed up that the nursing measures including preoperative routine preparation plus timely collection of skin samples for culture and careful evaluation of whole-body and the extremities, mental care all through the process of repair, postoperative health education, care of pains, close observation of blood supply, wound surface, needle hole and active support of nutrients and keeping the environment clean. The arthors argue treatment of pains, mental care and close observation of blood supply are the key for nursing. Their active nursing care kept all possible complications from developing among all the patients.
