The Application of the Head Nurse Work Result Declare Form in Nursing Management

Objective: With the application of the head nurse work result declare form to achieve the objectives of concept changing, leading skills changing and taking the lead in working. Methods: Nursing department set up the declare items, manage targets and checking detail rules; the head nurse performed self examination, quantified, declared and accepted all round examination. Results: Using the head nurse work result declare form in nursing management enhanced the nursing department's abilities to take self-examination and self-reflection; reinforced the cooperation between the nursing department and other departments in hospital; fully mobilized nurses' working passion and significantly improved nursing quality. The patient satisfaction rate reached 99.3%. Conclusion: It made the head nurses be more clear about their management duty and management objectives; made management concept more humanity and made quality check more activity. In a word, it significantly improved the nursing quality and patient satisfaction to nursing service as well as achieved the objectives of nursing management.
