头孢唑肟的体外抗菌活性

测定了头孢唑肟等11种抗生素对447株临床分离菌的体外抗菌活性,结果头孢唑肟对临床分离频度较高的大肠杆菌、肺炎杆菌和变形杆菌具有极高的抗菌活性,在所选用的抗生素中最强;头孢唑肟对拟杆菌的体外抗菌活性仅次于甲硝哒唑,在其余的10种抗生素中最强,因此认为头孢唑肟适于治疗上述细菌引起的感染,特别是需氧菌和厌氧菌的混合感染。由于头孢唑肟对绿脓杆菌和金葡球菌特别是来源于烧伤创面的金匍球菌的体外抗菌活性不强,故不宜单独用来治疗这些细菌引起的感染。

IN VITRO STUDY OF ANTIBACTERAL ACTIVITY OF CEFTIZOXIliVIE

The antibacterial activity of Ceftizoxime, in vitro was compared with that of other 10 antibiotics against 447 clinical isolates Ceftizoxime was the most active agent tested against isolates which were isolated frequently, including Escher-ichia coli, Klebseiella pneumonia, and Proteus. Ceftizoxime was less active than Met-ronidazole against Bacteroides, but it was more active than other 9 antibiotics. Results of this study indicate that Ceftizoxime was an effective agent to treat the infection caused by the bacteria which have been mentioned above, especially those of mixi-nfection caused by aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. Because Ceftizoxime showed little activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus, it should not be used to treat the infection caused by these bacteria.
