| Abstract: | Dental caries is the prime cause of premature loss of teeth in children. Tea contains high percentage of fluoride along with polyphenolic constituents which act on GTF of S. mutans in plaque synthesis. Combination of fluoride and polyphenolic constituents inhibit caries activity. |
