Abstract: | Graft versus host disease is a major barrier in allogeneic bone marrow transplantation. The associated morbidity and mortality need to be understood and prevented if possible, as the potential indications for bone marrow transplantation continue to broaden. Areas of investigation include the cellular effector arm as well as the cytokines associated with the expression of the disease. |
