Effects of cancer nursing plan based on risk concept on the quality of life and hope level of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with radiotherapy

Objective To explore the effects of cancer nursing plan based on risk concept on the quality of life and hope level of nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with radiotherapy.Methods A total of 78 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by radiotherapy admitted from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 39 cases in each group.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given cancer nursing plan based on risk concept on the basis of the control group.The incidence of complications,the scores of quality of life and hope level were compared between the two groups.Results The total incidence of complications in the observation group was 15.38%,which was lower than 38.46%in the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,there were no significant differences in the scores of quality of life between the two groups(P>0.05);one month after intervention,the scores of psychological field,physiological field,environmental field and social relationship field of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention,there were no significant differences in the score of hope level between the two groups(P>0.05);one month after intervention,the scores of positive attitude towards reality and future,taking positive action and maintaining close relationship with others in the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of cancer nursing plan base on risk concept for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy is helpful to reduce the incidence of complications and improve the quality of life and hope level.
