Comparison of the clinical effects of traditional thoracotomy bullectomy and single port thoracoscopic bullectomy in the treatment of primary spontaneous pneumothorax

Objective To compare the clinical effects of traditional thoracotomy bullectomy and single port thoracoscopic bullectomy in the treatment of primary spontaneous pneumothorax.Methods A total of 94 patients with primary spontaneous pneumothorax treated in our hospital from August 2016 to August 2019 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group(47 cases,traditional thoracotomy bullectomy)and observation group(47 cases,single port thoracoscopic bullectomy)according to the different treatment methods.The operation indexes,WBC and CRP level before and after 3 d of treatment,treatment effect and the occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups.Results The incision length,operation needed time,postoperative indwelling closed drainage tube time and hospital stay of the observation group were significantly shorter than those of the control group,the intraoperative blood loss volume was significantly less than that of the control group,and the SF-MPQ score of 3 d after operation was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 3 d of treatment,the WBC and CRP level in the two groups increased,but those in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).After 3 d of treatment,the total effective rate of treatment of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the total incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with the traditional thoracotomy bullectomy,the single port thoracoscopic bullectomy in the treatment of primary spontaneous pneumothorax has a remarkable clinical effect,it can reduce the surgical trauma and the risk of adverse reactions,which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
