X-ray diagnosis of meconium aspiration pneumonia in newborns

Objective To explore the application of X-ray diagnosis in neonatal meconium aspiration pneumonia.Methods The chest X-ray data of 11 children with meconium aspiration pneumonia admitted to our hospital from February 2017 to 2018 were retrospectively analyzed,and the X-ray characteristics of neonatal meconium aspiration pneumonia were further explored.Results The X-rays of the children showed emphysema of varying degrees,manifested as scattered patches and short strips of light and thin shadows with blurred edges,and also caused large lobar emphysema and shadows of coarse granular nodules.Extensive parenchymal lesions in both lungs are also the main signs.Conclusion X-ray diagnosis technology has high application value in neonatal meconium aspiration pneumonia.Doctors can diagnose children based on X-ray signs,provide timely and effective clinical treatment for them,and reduce neonatal mortality.
