AIB1在三阴性乳腺癌中的表达及意义

目的 探讨乳腺癌扩增基因1 (AIB1)蛋白的表达与三阴性乳腺癌预后的关系.方法 利用免疫组化方法检测108例三阴性乳腺癌病理标本中AIB1蛋白表达情况,结合患者临床病理资料,分析AIB1不同表达水平与三阴性乳腺癌患者预后的相关性.结果 108例三阴性乳腺癌患者,AIB1蛋白阳性表达43例(40%),阴性表达65例(60%).与AIB1蛋白阴性表达组比较,AIB1阳性表达组的总生存与无复发生存均明显低于阴性表达组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 AIB1蛋白阳性表达与三阴性乳腺癌患者的不良预后相关.有必要进行深入的研究,进一步明确AIB1可否成为三阴性乳腺癌潜在的治疗靶点.

Expression of AIB1 protein in patients with triple-negative breast cancer and its clinical significance

Objective To investigate the expression of amplified in breast cancer 1 (AIB1) protein in patients with triple-negative breast cancer and its correlation with the prognosis of the patients. Methods Immunohistochemical staining was applied to detect the expression of AIB1 protein in specimens of 108 patients with triple-negative breast can-cer. Based on the clinical pathological data, the correlation between AIB1 expression levels and the prognosis of tri-ple-negative breast cancer were analyzed. Results Among the 108 patients, AIB1 protein was observed positively ex-pressed in 43 patients (40.0%) and negatively expressed in 65 patients (60.0%). The overall survival and relapse-free sur-vival were significantly lower in patients with positive AIB1 expression than those with negative AIB1 expression (P<0.05). Conclusion Positive AIB1 expression is correlated to poor prognosis of patients with triple-negative breast can-cer. Further investigation is essential to determine whether AIB1 might be an effective therapeutic target for triple-nega-tive breast cancer.
