Inhibitory action of quercetin on intestinal transit in mice |

| Abstract: | The effects of quercetin have been investigated on the gastrointestinal propulsion of charcoal meal in mice. Quercetin reduced the rate of intestinal transit and this effect was potentiated by verapamil. |
