Using infected Vero-E6 cell antigen as coating antigen we established an indirect ELISA method for detection of the IgG antibody against EHF virus. The specificity of this method was confirmed by blocking and inhibition tests. It was found to be much more sensitive compared with IFA. This method would be usefull for epidemilologic surveillance and clinical diagnosis. |
