| Abstract: | Esophageal carcinoma has heavily threatened people＇s health because of its malignant invasion and poor prognosis.As a new medical imaging technique with functional and anatomical information,18F-FDG PET/CT advantageous in esophageal carcinoma has been increasingly accepted by a great number of medical staff.The present paper will summarize the application of 18F-FDG PET/CT in diagnosis,staging,recurrence,evaluating therapeutic effect and prognosis,designing radiotherapy plan of esophageal carcinoma. |
