Research progress on role of Toll-like receptor in pathogenic mechanism of Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Mycobacterium tuberculosis is pathogenic bacterium of tuberculosis,it can parasitize in the cells and keep long-term surviving. At present, the pathogenic mechanism of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the immune response induced by Mycobacterium tuberculosis are still unclear. Toll-like receptor belongs to pattern recognition receptor, and plays an extremely important role in the host defense reaction to Mycobacterium tuberculosis. As a bridge between innate immunity and acquired immunity,the effects of Toll-like receptor on the regulation of immune system are attracting more and more considerations. The researches of relationship between Toll-like receptor and Mycobacterium tuberculosis have become an important topic in the life science.
