Abstract: | Morphometry of electron microscopic preparations reveals a compensatory and adaptive nature of ultrastructural changes in the thyroid blood-C-cell junctions induced by desympathization. The data suggest the involvement of adrenergic innervation in neurohumoral regulation of the blood-C-cell relationships in the thyroid gland.
