本文分析了中国实行市场经济和恢复关贸总协定后医药工业所面临的形势。价格将放开,企业进行平等竞争,在竞争中进行兼并。企业规模将扩大,一批企业将难以生存。外国医药商品涌入中国市场,国内企业更要受到冲击。各企业应在产品质量上下功夫,积极推行GMP,迎接挑战。

Challenge to Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry and Possible Countermeasure

The present paper analyzes the situation of Chinese pharmaceutical industry which has been faced with carrying out market oriented economy and resuming General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade. The price will be free, all of the enterprises will compete on the basis of equality, and the annex will be developed during competition. On the one hand, the scale of some enterprises will be enlarged, and on the other hand a number of enterprises cannot be maintained any longer. Furthermore, foreign medical commodity will enter into our market pounding at that of domestic industry. Under this circumstance every enterprise should pay more attention on the quality, variety and cost of its own products, make vigorous efforts to carry out GMP to meet the challenge.
