前臂围作为婴幼儿营养评价指标的研究

采用二阶段随机抽样、相关与回归分析的方法,对武汉市988名0～3岁散居正常儿童的前臂围、上臂围、体重、身长、坐高、头围及胸围进行了研究。结果表明:前臂围与上臂围、体重、胸围、身长、坐高及头围之间都存在高度相关性。逐步回归分析结果还发现:与前臂围关系密切的营养评价指标主要是上臂围、体重和胸围。

A Study on Forearm Circumference as an Index Evaluating the Nutritional Status of Children Aged 0～3 Years

In this paper we used the two-stage random sampling,correlation analysis and stepwise regression analysis methods to study the forearm circumference, upper - arm circumference, weight,height,sitting height,head circumference and chest circumference of 988 health children aged 0~3 years in Wuhan. The result showed that there were high correlations between forearm circumference and upper -arm circumference, weight, chest circumference, height, sitting height or head circumference. In addition, the stepwise regression result showed that the nutritional status evaluation indexes which had close relations with forearm circumference were upper - arm circumference, weight and chest circumference. Therefore,we suggest that forearm circumference be used as an nutritional status evaluation index for children.
