Effect analysis of vaginal secretion on the results of routine urine examination

Objective To observe the effect of vaginal secretion on the results of routine urine examination,and explore the countermeasures.Methods 94 female patients who underwent routine urine examination were selected as the research subjects,and conventional urine collection and vaginal secretion clearance involving urine collection were used for routine urine examination.The detection rate of cell and urine protein,protein,urine glucose,pH value between the two methods were compared.Results The detection rates of red blood cells,white blood cells,epithelial cells,and proteins in the vaginal secretion clearance involving urine collection were 7.45%,3.19%,0,and 0,which were all lower than 38.30%,19.15%,4.26%,and 9.57% of the conventional urine collection,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The protein(7.54±2.03)g/L and urine glucose(3.11±1.20)mmol/L of the vaginal secretion clearance involving urine collection were lower than(10.39±3.48)g/L and(6.47±1.63)mmol/L of the conventional urine collection,and the pH value(6.84±1.73)was significantly higher than(5.77±1.29)of conventional urine collection,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Vaginal secretions will have a great impact on the results of routine urine examination,and then affect the clinical diagnosis and treatment effect.Therefore,before collecting the urine samples of patients,they should be instructed to clean up the vaginal secretions and pay attention to standardized operation in order to improve the accuracy of routine urine examination.
