Efficacy analysis of self-made Huatan Quyu Tongmai Decoction on the treatment of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease

Objective To analyze the efficacy of self-made Huatan Quyu Tongmai Decoction on the treatment of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease. Methods A total of 80 patients with unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the experimental group was treated with self-made Huatan Quyu Tongmai Decoction on the basis of conventional western medicine.Both groups were compared in terms of clinical efficacy and the levels of blood lipids [high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C), low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), triglycerides(TG), total cholesterol(TC)] before and after treatment. Results The total clinical effective rate 95.0% of the experimental group was higher than 72.5% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of HDL-C in the two groups were higher than those in this group before treatment, and the levels of LDL-C, TG, and TC were lower than those in this group before treatment;the HDL-C(1.44±0.43) mmol/L of the experimental group was higher than(1.26±0.27) mmol/L of the control group, and the LDL-C(1.77±0.52) mmol/L, TG(1.65±0.14) mmol/L, TC(3.74±1.03) mmol/L were lower than(2.05±0.43),(1.88±0.24),(4.23±0.72) mmol/L of the control group;all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Self-made Huatan Quyu Tongmai Decoction is effective in treating unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease, which can effectively regulate the level of blood lipid and is worthy of clinical promotion.
