Observation on the effect of intravenous thrombolytic therapy with urokinase in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of intravenous thrombolytic therapy with urokinase in patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 89 patients with acute ischemic stroke were divided into control group(45 cases) and observation group(44 cases) according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with traditional therapy, and the observation group was treated with urokinase on the basis of the control group. The National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS) score before and after treatment and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the NIHSS score of the two groups were lower than those of this group before treatment;the NIHSS score(5.6±2.5) points of the observation group was lower than(13.5±2.1) points of the control group;all the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 90.91%, which was higher than 73.3% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Intravenous thrombolytic therapy with urokinase for patients with acute ischemic stroke can reduce the NIHSS score and improve the clinical efficacy. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
