Abstract: | ![]() An interim report of 65 Giliberty bipolar hip units followed for an average of 19 months shows excellent short-term results in regard to their clinical condition. Radiographic study of the prosthesis with special attention to cup movement portends a favorable long-term result. Nevertheless, the snap-fit mechanism of the prosthetic head in the cup and the moving cup justify a cautious attitude until a larger series of a longer term can be completed. |
