类鼻疽杆菌基因组学概述及进展*

摘要:类鼻疽伯克霍尔德杆菌是一种人体机会致病菌,导致的疾病称类鼻疽,是一种典型的热带疾病,能感染机体几乎任何器官。类鼻疽杆菌分布广泛,主要存在于水及土壤中,其耐受性极强,能在土壤中存活几十年之久,被美国CDC列为B类生物恐怖剂。随着病原菌的扩散和人类活动的影响,全球范围内关于类鼻疽病例报道的增加,越来越多的证据表明类鼻疽是一种正在扩散的人兽共患病。海南、广东等地正是类鼻疽感染的重灾区,而国内类鼻疽杆菌的研究还很少,也没有类鼻疽杆菌研究的标准株和基因组学理论基础,获取国际标准菌株资源受到西方国家的限制,鉴于类鼻疽杆菌的特殊性、类鼻疽严峻的流行形势及科研壁垒,加强类鼻疽的研究有着重要的社会意义和军事价值。本文总结了类鼻疽杆菌(K96243标准株)的全基因组的特点,结合了当今的DNA测序的发展现状,指出开展国内类鼻疽杆菌全基因测序的必要性和紧迫性。

The genomic overview and progression of Burkholderia pseudomallei*
Abstract:
ABSTRACTBurkholderia pseudomallei is an opportunistic pathogen which can cause tropical disease, melioidosis,refering to almost all organs. Burkholderia pseudomallei is found in widespread water and soil and can survive as long as decades,also classified as B category pathogen by the CDC of USA.More countries are engaged in this research field, considering its public threat and military purpose.With the diffusion of pathogen and the increasing number of victims,it is believed that melioidosis need update.In our country ,Hainan and Guangdong is disaster area of melioidosis.However,study on melioidosis is still not paid enough attention with no international standard bacteria or whole genomic sequencing data.Given the specificity of the pathogen, draconic prevalence of melioidosis and research barrier, it will benefit public health and military use to enhence the study of Burkholderia pseudomallei.To set up our own research platform needs a standard model with self-contained bacieria resources and complementary clinial and research documents, while the whole genomic sequencing would offer us the most basic and reliable data for further research work. So this review will point out the necessity of whole genomic sequencing of our chinese standard bacteria with considering the data of K96243 sequencing and the development of DNA sequencing nowadays.
