Analysis on Theory of"Kidney Storing Essence"with Systems Theory

The theory of visceral manifestation plays an important role in building the theoretical system of TCM.The main function of kidney is to store essence.So the theory of "kidney storing the essence" is one of the important contents of the theory of visceral manifestation.The visceral in the theory of visceral manifestation is not only a simple anatomical concept,but also a concept that generalizes the physiology and pathology of a certain system.So in the theory of "kidney storing the essence",the kidney consists of two concepts:the simple anatomical concept and functions.With the systems theory,this thesis analyzes the relationship between kidneys and essence,the laws of changes in physiological and pathological aspects.
