| Abstract: | In ordel to asses the relation between helicobacter pylori (HP) and chronic gastric,peptic ulcer,or gastric carcinoma, the biopsy specimens of gastric mucosa from 259 patients with gastroduodenal disease were examined by urease test.The results showed that HP infection rate was 75.3 percent in chronic gastritis,and was 80.7 percent in peptic ulcer.The HP infection rate was 88.4 percent in active chronic gastritis, and 72.0 percent in inactive chronic gastritis,There was a close relation between HP and chronic gastritis,or peptic ulcer. |
