Analysis of 72 cases CT-guided percutaneous core needle lung biopsy

Objective: To explore the clinical value of transthoracic needle biopsy of peripheral pulmonary solitary nodules and diffuse lesions under CT-guided. Methods: 72 paitents(from July 2009 to July 2010)with peripheral pulmonary solitary nodules were and diffuse lesions collected,which were performed by percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy under CT,clinical therapy or follow up survey were given after pathologic diagnosed. Results: The 64 cases were diagnosed to be 50 cases of pulmonary carcinoma,8 cases of tuberculoma,6 cases of inflammatory pseudotumor by percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy under CT-guided,which were proved to be 52 cases of pulmonary carcinoma,8 cases of tuberculoma,4 cases of inflammatory pseudotumor.Pulmonary diffuse lesions 8 cases.Lung biopsy results for normal tissue 3 cases,alveolar carcinoma 3 cases,chronic fibre tissue 2 cases The complications were 7 cases of pneumothorax,3cases of hemoptysis,5 cases of sput-um containing blood. Conclusion: Percutaneous transthoracic needle biopsy under CT-guided provided a safe and efficient diagnostic method for peripheral pulmona-ry solitary nodules and diffuse lesions with few conplications.
