| Abstract: | The biological effects of estrogen is mediated by estrogen receptor(ER),the fact that ER exists in vessel wall provide a molecular foundation to illustrate the direct effect of estrogen on vessel wall.In this review we focused on the new research progress in ER,such as its structure,isoform,membrane estrogen receptor and its mechanism of action,we also illustrate the vascular protective effect mediated by ER. |
