Exploration and practice in perfecting the management of Emergency Intensive Care Unit

To establish and perfect an Emergency Intensive Care Unit (EICU),in order to improve the quality of rescuing and monitoring emergency patients and foster high-quality specialized emergency nurses. In China,emergency nurses have been trained in monitoring technique and gradually formed a set of feasible work flow for EICU. After continuous perfection of monitoring work and adjustment of the idea in management of EICU,patients with serious physiological disturbance or multiple organ failure can be fully and thoroughly treated.The nurses' special skills,working efficiency,success rate of rescuing,professional knowledge,scientific research capacity and occupational quality have been significantly improved.The use of modern high techniques in monitoring of severe patients reduced the work of medical staff,and improved work efficiency.
