Clinical Study on Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with Acupuncture on Limb Function and Quality of Life in Elderly Patients with Stroke

Objective To explore the clinical effect of Buyang Huanwu Decoction Combined with acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of senile stroke.Methods from February 2018 to March 2020,200 elderly patients with stroke in our department were selected for the control study.Among them,100 cases received conventional treatment as the control group,and the other 100 cases were treated with Buyang Huanwu Decoction and acupuncture on the basis of conventional treatment as the study group.Results after treatment,the TCM symptom score,limb motor function score and quality of life score of the study group were better than those of the control group,and there were statistical differences between the data groups(P<0.05).Conclusion on the basis of conventional western medicine treatment,combined application of Buyang Huanwu Decoction and acupuncture treatment,can achieve more accurate treatment effect,worthy of reference.
