Effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction on Serum IGF-1, VEGF,BMP-2 Levels and Prognosis of Invalids with Femoral Neck Fracture

Objective To explore the effect of Xuefu Zhuyu decoction on serum IGF-1,VEGF,BMP-2 levels and prognosis of patients with femoral neck fracture. Methods A total of 45 invalids with femoral neck fracture who received treatment in orthopedics department of Qingdao Chengyang Guzhen Orthopedic Hospital from December 2019 to September 2020 were divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method,of which 22 cases were in the control group and 23 cases were in the observation group. Both groups were operated on,the control group was given traditional anti-inflammatory therapy,and the observation group was given Xuefu Zhuyu decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 3 months. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores,serum levels of IGF-1,VEGF,BMP-2 before and after treatment and complications during the treatment were compared between 2 groups. Results After treatment,the scores of swelling,pain,constipation and thirst in 2 groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the observation group was significantly more reduce than the control group( P < 0. 05). The levels of serum VEGF,BMP-2 and IGF-1 in 2 groups after treatment were significantly higher than before treatment,and the observation group was significantly higher than the control group( P < 0. 05).After treatment,the total incidence of observation group( 8. 70%) was significantly more reduce than that of control group( 27. 27%)( P <0. 05). Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu decoction can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in invalids with femoral neck fracture,and promote the regeneration of blood vessels around the fracture site,so as to enhance the curative effect and promote fracture healing.
