Analysis of Influencing Factors of Risk Perceptionamong First-line Nurses during the Epidemic of COVID-19

Objective To investigate the level of risk perception and influencing factors of front-line nursing staff during the epidemic of coronavirus disease-2019,and provide a basis for the hospital to build a nursing risk early warning mechanism in the future.Methods General data questionnaire,nursing staff risk perception questionnaire,Perceived Social Support Scale and Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey were used for a questionnaire survey of 466 first-line nursing staff.Univariate analysis,regression analysis,and mediation effect analysis were used.The risk perception level and influencing factors of front-line nurses were studied.Results The total score of risk perception of front-line nurses in this study was(85.99±19.23).Emotional exhaustion,disintegration of personality,monthly night shifts,and perceived social support were the main factors affecting the level of risk perception of front-line nurses(P<0.05).Risk perception played a part of the mediating role of 0.11 between social support and job burnout,and the mediating effect accounted for 17.46%of the total effect.Conclusion During the epidemic of coronavirus disease-2019,the level of risk perception of front-line nurses is significantly higher than normal.This suggests that medical institutions should take targeted psychological assistance measures,and set up special training courses based on their influencing factors in order to improve the occupational safety of front-line nurses and the quality of clinical care during hospital outbreaks.
