Feasibility of targeted therapy combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer

Objective To investigate the feasibility of targeted therapy combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy for patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.Methods A total of 162 patients with non-small cell lung cancer admitted in our hospital were selected as the study objects and divided into observation group(targeted therapy+concurrent chemoradiotherapy)and control group(concurrent chemoradiotherapy)according to treatment methods,with 81 cases in each group.The disease control,tumor markers,KPS score and survival were compared between the two groups.Results The disease control rate and disease remission rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the levels of CYFRA21-1 and CEA of the two groups decreased,KPS scores increased,and those of the observation group were better than the control group(P<0.05).The 1-year survival rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Targeted therapy combined with concurrent chemoradiotherapy can effectively improve the disease control rate and remission rate,and prolong the survival rate in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer.
