| Abstract: | Objective To analyze the clinical effect of telmisartan combined with nifedipine sustained release tablets in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension.Methods A total of 104 elderly patients with hypertension treated from March 2018 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects,and the patients were divided into control group and observation group by odd even grouping method,with 52 cases in each group.The control group was treated with nifedipine sustained release tablets,and the observation group was treated with telmisartan combined with nifedipine sustained release tablets.The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the diastolic and systolic blood pressure levels of the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the heart rate of the two groups reduced,and that in the observation group was lower than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of material life,physical function,emotional function and social function of the two groups increased,and those in the observation group were higher than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Telmisartan combined with nifedipine sustained release tablets in the treatment of elderly patients with hypertension can effectively reduce the blood pressure levels,improve heart rate indicators,treatment effect and quality of life,and have fewer adverse reactions. |
