Study on Mental Sub-health and Psychological Symptoms among Undergraduate Students.

Objective To explore mental subhealth and psychological symptoms,and main influence factors among undergraduate utudents.Methods Sub-health Self-rating Scale and the Symptom Checklist（SCL-90） were used for a questionnaire survey,a database was established by using Excel and the data were analyzed by using SPSS 16.0.Results In the samples,the frequency of sub-health and psychological symptoms was 61.8%;gender had main impact on mental sub-health;there were significant differences on paranoia between those from rural areas or towns（t=2.24,P〈0.01）;there were significant grade differences on interpersonal relationships and psychotic（F=4.60,4.40;P〈0.01）;there were significant grade differences on obsessive-compulsive symptoms and sub-health（F=3.50,3.00;P〈0.01）;and there were significant age differences on interpersonal sensitivity,mental illness and sub-health score（F=2.30,2.60,2.04,P〈0.01）.Conclusions ①Mental sub-health and psychological symptoms of college students have higher incidence.②Sex has a large impact on memtal sub-health and psychological symptoms;age,grade,from urban or rural have impact on mental sub-health and psychological symptoms;whether the only child has no significant impact on memtal sub-health and psychological symptoms.
