| Abstract: | In this case report, we present the utility of transesophageal echocardiography in the detection of two uncommon complications of left ventricular assist devices: regurgitation of the bioprosthetic valve in the inflow conduit and a tear of a Dacron conduit with hematoma formation and compression of the right ventricular free wall. |
