Abstract: | A case of rhabdomyolysis-induced acute renal failure secondary to overdosage with the beta 2-adrenoceptor agonist terbutaline is described. This is a previously undocumented association. We propose that the hyperkinetic effects of intense beta-receptor stimulation may induce rhabdomyolysis. |
