摘    要:目的:探讨坐骨神经损伤后雌激素与脊髓脂质过氧化反应的关系。方法:通过检测坐骨神经功能指数(SFI)和脊髓内丙二醛(MDA)的含量,观察雌激素对坐骨神经损伤后大鼠脊髓脂质过氧化反应的影响。结果:伤后各组大鼠SFI均有不同程度下降,去势组大鼠SFI较雌激素补充治疗组降低明显(P<0.05),神经功能恢复较雌激素补充治疗组缓慢。同时伤后各组大鼠脊髓内MDA含量上升明显,至伤后21天达高峰,雌激素补充治疗组大鼠脊髓内MDA含量在各时间点均显著低于去势组大鼠脊髓内MDA含量(P<0.05)。结论:雌激素能促进大鼠的坐骨神经功能恢复,通过对抗坐骨神经损伤后引发的脊髓脂质过氧化反应对神经元发挥保护作用。

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the relationship between estrogen and lipid peroxidation after sciatic nerve injury. Methods:Sciatic function index (SFI) and malonydialdehyde (MDA) were detected to observe the degree of peroxidation in rats spinal cord after sciatic nerve injury.Results:The results showed that the SFI decreased in all the injuried groups. The sciatic nerve recovered slowly in ovariectomied group while the significant difference was shown between the estrogen supplement group and the ovariectomied group (P<0.05). It was also indicated that the MDA content in the spinal cord increased obviously in all the injuried groups, and its reached peak on 21 day after injury. The MDA content in the estrogen supplement group was significantly lower than that of the ovariectomied group in every time course(P<0.05). Conclusions:These results suggest that estrogen may accelerate rehabilitation after sciatic nerve injury in rats. The neuroprotective mechanism of estrogen may have certain compensatory effect on peroxidation in the spinal cord after sciatic nerve injury.
