骨髓活检与涂片联合应用于MDS诊断探讨

对我院1994～1996年经临床、外周血象,骨髓涂片和骨髓活检确诊为骨髓增生异常综合征(MDS)的32例患者资料,进行了研究观察.外周血和骨髓涂片根据法美英协作组(FAB)分型标准,骨髓活检采用塑料包埋半薄切片.结果:组织病理形态分类对以涂片为基础的FAB分型是很好的补充.两者相结合是诊断MDS非常有效的方法.

COMBINED USE OF BONE MARROW BIOPSIES AND SMEARS IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF MYCELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROMES

The clinical features,bone marrow aspirates and biopsies were studied in 32 patients with MDS from 1994to 1996. Smears of peripheral blood films and bone marrow aspirates were stained according to wright. The sections of un-decalcified plastic embedded biopsies were stained according to HE,HGF,Gomori and Masson. It was found more reliableand accurate for the diagnosis of MDS to use the combination of aspirate and biopsy analyses than to use either of themalong especially for the difficult-to-diagnose cases due to cytopenia and unsuccessful bone marrow aspirates (dry tap ordilution). A bone marrow biopsy was necessary. The results suggested that the histomorphologic classification was a complement to that of the FAB group based on the smears. The combined utilization, which could serve as an assistance to improve the rates of correct diagnosis and prognosis.
