| Abstract: | The changes of the levels of C-reactive protein, endothelin and nitric oxide before and after pioglitazone treatment in type 2 diabetic patients suggested that inflammation participated in the pathogenesis of diabetic macroangiopathy and pioglitazone can protect vessels. |
