| Abstract: | Objetive To observe the e ffic acy of xenogenic hepatocyte transplantai on（XHX） in a toxic model of fulminant he patic failue（FHF） in rat．Method SD rats（n＝14） that received 1.5×107 g uinea pig hepatocyte intraspleen at 48ho urs after D-galactosamine（D-GI） intraper itnear injection （1.95mg／kg）．The two week survival rate was compared with s ynge nic hepatocy te transplantation（n＝16）and control an imals（n＝16）．The pathological examinati ons were done at the different time afte r transplantion．Results The XHT was able to significantly improve surviv al rate as S HT done（71％versus 68％,P＞0.05）when comp ar ed with functions of guinea pig hepatocy tes transplanted were basiclly normal du ring the time of 12-24 hours after trans plantation．Conclusion XHT could reverse the FHF of rat induced by D-GI |
