| Abstract: | Bagui medicine refers to the traditional medicine closely related to the existing administrative region of Bagui(Guangxi), including traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) and ethnic medicine. Bagui medicine has spanned more than 20 000 years from its occurrence to its formation and has experienced three stages: gestation period, integration period and flourishing period, forming a theoretical system of Bagui medical with local characteristics and catalyzing the birth of Bagui medical schools, which is composed of Bagui TCM school and Bagui ethnic medicine school. Among them, the Bagui TCM school includes the school of gynecology, the school of acupuncture and moxibustion, the school of bone injury, and the Bagui ethnic medicine school includes the school of Zhuang medicine and Yao medicine. Since then, Bagui medicine entered the stage of vigorous development. |
