| Abstract: | The aim of this study is to abserve the effects and safety in low dosage cyclosporin A(CsA) treatment of 10 patients with lupus nephritis (LN) for three months. The results of the treatment showed that the symptoms and signs with active LN relieved and the livels of ESR,proteinurea decreased;the serum albumin and C3 levelsincreased; the titles of ANA and anti-dsDNA and serum sIL-2R levels decreased. The above mentioned Iaboratory determination before and after CsA treatment indicated significanty diffences (p 0. 05 or p 0. 01).The serum creatinine was no change. The blood trough levels of CsA were 50-236/ml. The severe side effects were not discoveseed.The results of this study suggested that low dosage CsA in the treatment of LN is safe and effective. |
